That’s because of the Burn Mechanic, where Cores can be sacrificed to summon Mythical evolutions through the Bloodtide.

Every decision you make (reveal or burn) changes the size, shape, and rarity of the ecosystem.

Each Genesis Core hides a trait count from 0 to 4. When you choose to reveal, you unlock:

• A fully 3D-rendered AI Companion

• Companion Species

• Core Origin

• Trait Count (affecting rarity)

• A unique Lore Snippet tied to your Companion

🔥 The Burn

Or, you can burn your Genesis Cores.

• Burning Genesis Cores totaling 6 points unlocks a Bloodtide Core the gateway to Mythical Companions (Dragons, Phoenixes, Unicorns, and other unrevealed).
